Care of Flowers

Hand-Tied Bouquets

  • Remove wrapping if desired.

  • Cut off 1cm to 2cm from base of stems, on an angle, and remove any foliage that will be under water.

(This will allow your flowers to keep drinking and last longer.)

  • Put flowers in a vase with supplied flower food.

  • Top up water regularly and replace water weekly.

  • Remove faded flowers and dried foliage (e.g. browning rose petals).

  • Keep flowers in a cool place and out of direct sunlight.

Water Filled Box Bouquets

  • Flower food has already been added to the water.

  • Top up water regularly and replace water weekly.

  • Remove faded flowers and dried foliage (e.g. browning rose petals).

  • Keep flowers in a cool place and out of direct sunlight.

Floral Foam Arrangements

  • Your flowers are arranged in a floral foam that already contains water.

  • Regularly top up your arrangement with clean water, preferably with flower food predissolved in it.

(This will extend the life of your flowers.)

  • Keep in a cool place and out of direct sunlight.

  • Remove faded flowers and dried foliage (e.g. browning rose petals).
